WASHINGTON, June 12, 2020 – The Vinyl Sustainability Council (VSC), a self-funded business council advancing sustainability in the vinyl industry, is pleased to welcome Performance Additives to its membership.
“We’re pleased to have Performance Additives join the Vinyl Sustainability Council,” said Jay Thomas, VSC Executive Director. “Advancing an entire industry’s sustainability journey is not something that can be accomplished alone. It is through continued collaboration with all members of the vinyl value chain that we’ll see the greatest impact. Performance Additives’ membership will be a great asset to the group.”
Performance Additives, headquartered in Yardley, Pa., is an industry leader in the additives sector, serving the extrusion, injection molding, and calendaring markets, while offering process aids, impact modifiers, chlorinated polyethylene, lubricants, and specialty additives.
“We’re looking forward to working with VSC members to advance sustainability within the industry,” said Eric Vanderpool, Performance Additives Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Advancing sustainability is critical to ensuring a positive future for the vinyl industry, and we’re excited to play a more active role.”
The VSC is open for membership to any company within the U.S. vinyl value chain from resin manufacturer to product retailer. Members work together to develop and implement best practices and innovation leading to continuous improvement throughout the industry, while promoting these achievements to key stakeholders.
